June Meeting - by Sarah

What a lovely early summer evening it was for members to come together for a very special sewing session. With kits kindly prepared by Eileen and sewing machines at the ready, we worked on assembling the lovely cat and boat blocks that members had made, turning them into beautiful quilts for Project Linus.

The room was full of colour and creativity—charming cats, fabulous boats, even one with a playful pirate flag! There was some impressive teamwork, and it was a very productive evening full of laughter, chatter, and a shared sense of purpose.

A big thank you to everyone who made blocks and helped put them together, and especially to those who kindly took quilts home to finish. We can’t wait to see the completed quilts at our August meeting!
