Shirley Quilters support Project Linus UK in an ongoing capacity. Members regularly make quilts which they bring along to the meetings, Julia (Chair) collects them in and then passes them on to Liz (Local Co-ordinator for Project Linus) and she in turn distributes them to the various hospitals and hospices in the area who then donate them to the children in their care. These children can be from babies up to the age of 18.
Below is a list of recipients, not necessarily all donated to by Shirley Quilters.
Special Care Baby Unit, Croydon University Hospital

Liz has passed on a letter received from the Royal Marsden (2015), it goes without saying, that not all these quilts were made by Shirley Quilters.
Attached is a letter of thanks from the Royal Marsden. I wanted to share it
with Shirley Quilters and add my own thanks for all that you do individually
and as a group
All the very best
